NANOTEXNOLOGY 2017 concluded successfully on the 8th of July 2017, after an exciting week full of important technological, business and networking parallel events. LTFN Nanotechnology Lab, together with Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Nano|Net Research and Innovation Network and HOPE-A, co-organized this year’s events.
The ISSON17 Summer Schools opened this year’s NANOTEXNOLOGY on Saturday 1st of July. ISSON17 comprised of fascinating lectures on Nanotechnologies, Organic Electronics and Nanomedicine gathering more than 105 students from 26 different countries and 25 internationally acknowledged experts!

Coming next, ISFOE17 Symposium on Flexible Organic Electronics started on Monday 3rd of July with more than 161 presentations from 33 different countries, to be followed by NN17 Conference on Nanosciences and Nanotechnologies which started on Tuesday 4th of July encompassing 400 presentations from 49 different countries. During the fourth day of NANOTEXNOLOGY exciting plenary talks were delivered by three world-class scientists (Prof. S. Marder, Prof. H. Snaith and Prof. J. Seiradakis), where the attendants had the opportunity to be informed about all the cutting-edge updates on the fields of Nanotechnologies and Organic Electronics and watch an interesting lecture about the Antikythera Mechanism!

This year 7 New Parallel Workshops and Events enriched NANOTEXNOLOGY’s program with more than 100 presentations from 20 countries. Starting on Monday July 3rd during ISFOE, the HOPE-A & JAPEC Joint Workshop took place, highlighting the cooperation between Greece and Japan in the fields of Technology, Innovation and Business in the era of Organic Electronics. The Workshop included presentations explaining the technology and entrepreneurial activities of HOPE-A and JAPEC partners. During the first day of NN conference, the Photonic Integrated Circuits Workshop took place, where the participants had the chance to give an overview of the Photonic Integrated Circuits (PIC) technology, bringing together the PIC value chain of Europe’s key players in the field. Two new shared workshops took place on July 6th and 7th during the ISFOE symposium and NN conference; the New Business development and Commercialization workshop aiming at fostering actions on the exploitation and commercialization of scientific research and innovations on nanotechnology related fields and the Workshop on Renewable Energy and Storage with topics like next gen. PVs, Fuel Cells and Hydrogen generation, Smart Cities, Energy autonomy in Agriculture etc. Both Workshops gathered an exciting list of speakers and many representatives of the authorities between the audience like the Greek Alternate Minister of Environment and Energy, Mr. Socrates Famellos. During the last day of NN conference, Friday July 7th, three more workshops took place. The NANO-GR and EU-USA Workshops, developed in two continuous sessions in the NN program, with presentations of active and past Greek and EU funded projects in the first part and discussion of the current activities in nanomanufacturing and factory of the future between USA and EU academics, researchers and entrepreneurs during the second part. Finally a Workshop to honor Prof. Y. Missirlis brought the last day of the conference to an end with many speakers giving talks to pay tribute to Prof. Missirlis for his continuous multifaceted support of these conferences during all this years.

Along with the Conferences and Summer Schools, EXPO17 the exhibition on Nanotechnologies, Organic Electronics and Nanomedicine gathered more than 50 exhibitors from different countries, together with a Matchmaking Event with more than 180 bilateral meetings and Business Forum with presentations from companies' representatives, where only some of the highlights of this year’s NANOTEXNOLOGY.

Το δίκτυο Έρευνας και Καινοτομίας Nano|Net, σας ενημερώνει ότι δημοσιεύθηκε στις 23 ΜΑΡΤΙΟΥ η πρόσκληση υποβολής Προτάσεων Χρηματοδότησης Ερευνητικών Έργων για την Ενιαία Δράση Κρατικών Ενισχύσεων «Ερευνώ - Δημιουργώ - Καινοτομώ» στο πλαίσιο του Επιχειρησιακού Προγράμματος Ανταγωνιστικότητα, Επιχειρηματικότητα Καινοτομία (ΕΠΑνΕΚ) του ΕΣΠΑ 2014-2020.

Η Δράση «Ερευνώ - Δημιουργώ - Καινοτομώ» απευθύνεται σε Επιχειρήσεις και Ερευνητικούς φορείς. Ειδικότερα σε ό,τι αφορά τις επιχειρήσεις, η Δράση απευθύνεται σε υφιστάμενες επιχειρήσεις ανεξαρτήτως μεγέθους και ημερομηνίας ίδρυσης, οι οποίες προτίθενται να υλοποιήσουν έργο Έρευνας, Τεχνολογικής Ανάπτυξης και Καινοτομίας (ΕΤΑΚ). Αιτήσεις χρηματοδότησης μπορούν να υποβάλλουν μεμονωμένες επιχειρήσεις, ομάδες επιχειρήσεων ή συμπράξεις επιχειρήσεων με ερευνητικούς οργανισμούς.

Απαραίτητη προϋπόθεση είναι το αντικείμενο του συγκεκριμένου έργου να εμπίπτει στους επιλεγμένους Θεματικούς Τομείς της οικονομίας: Υλικά - Κατασκευές, Τουρισμός, Πολιτισμός & Δημιουργικές Βιομηχανίες, Αγροδιατροφή & Βιομηχανία τροφίμων, Περιβάλλον & Βιώσιμη Ανάπτυξη, Υγεία & Φάρμακα, Μεταφορές & Εφοδιαστική Αλυσίδα, Ενέργεια, Τεχνολογίες Πληροφορικής & Επικοινωνιών, Αναδυόμενες Τεχνολογίες.

Οι Προτάσεις Χρηματοδότησης που υποβάλλονται στο πλαίσιο της Δράσης «Ερευνώ - Δημιουργώ - Καινοτομώ» θα πρέπει να εντάσσονται σε μία από τις ακόλουθες Τρεις Παρεμβάσεις:
I. Έρευνα και Ανάπτυξη από Μικρομεσαίες Επιχειρήσεις
II. Συμπράξεις Επιχειρήσεων με Ερευνητικούς Οργανισμούς
III. Αξιοποίηση Ερευνητικών Αποτελεσμάτων

Ο Συνολικός Προϋπολογισμός των υποβαλλομένων προτάσεων έργων πρέπει να μην υπερβαίνει το ανώτερο όριο, όπως αυτό ορίζεται παρακάτω, ανά κατηγορία παρέμβασης.
I. Έρευνα και Ανάπτυξη από Μικρομεσαίες Επιχειρήσεις:
- 200.000€ εάν συμμετέχει μία επιχείρηση
- 350.000€ εάν συμμετέχουν δύο επιχειρήσεις
- 450.000€ εάν συμμετέχουν τρείς επιχειρήσεις
- 500.000€ εάν συμμετέχουν περισσότερες των τριών επιχειρήσεις
II. Συμπράξεις Επιχειρήσεων με Ερευνητικούς Οργανισμούς
-1.000.000€
III. Αξιοποίηση Ερευνητικών Αποτελεσμάτων
2.000.000€

Το Ποσοστό Χρηματοδότησης ποικίλλει ανάλογα με την κατηγορία παρέμβασης, το είδος των δραστηριοτήτων που περιλαμβάνει το προτεινόμενο έργο ΕΤΑΚ και το μέγεθος της επιχείρησης. Στις περισσότερες περιπτώσεις η χρηματοδότηση είναι της τάξης του 40-70%, ενώ σε κάποιες περιπτώσεις μπορεί να μέχρι και το 80% του προϋπολογισμού της πρότασης.

Χρηματοδοτούνται οι εξής Κατηγορίες Δαπανών:
1. Δαπάνες προσωπικού.
2. Δαπάνες οργάνων & εξοπλισμού.
3. Δαπάνες για κτίρια και γήπεδα.
4. Δαπάνες για ανάθεση έρευνας επί συμβάσει, διπλώματα ευρεσιτεχνίας, που αγοράστηκαν ή ελήφθησαν με άδεια εκμετάλλευσης από εξωτερικές πηγές με τήρηση της αρχής των ίσων αποστάσεων, καθώς και δαπάνες για συμβουλευτικές και ισοδύναμες υποστηρικτικές υπηρεσίες χρησιμοποιούμενες αποκλειστικά για το έργο.
5. Πρόσθετα γενικά έξοδα και λοιπές λειτουργικές δαπάνες που είναι άμεσο αποτέλεσμα του έργου
6. Δαπάνες διεξαγωγής μελέτης σκοπιμότητας
7. Δαπάνες καινοτομίας
8. Δαπάνες συμμετοχής σε εμπορικές εκθέσεις

Ημερομηνία έναρξης ηλεκτρονικής υποβολής των προτάσεων χρηματοδότησης στο Πληροφοριακό Σύστημα Κρατικών Ενισχύσεων - ΠΣΚΕ (www.ependyseis.gr/mis) ορίζεται για τον τρέχοντα, Α΄ κύκλο του Προγράμματος, η Πέμπτη 23 Μαρτίου 2017 (ώρα 15.00) με καταληκτική ημερομηνία την Τετάρτη 17 Μαΐου 2017 και ώρα 16:00.

On Friday July 8th, the Special Workshop on Agrofood – Boosting the Organic and Printed Electronics Industry in Greece, took place during the NANOTEXNOLOGY 2016 events. You can find the program of the event here. The workshop’s scope was to highlight the potential of Nanotechnology in Food Industry as well as in the wider rural Economy. The workshop took place in presence of Mr. Markos Mpolaris, Deputy Minister of Agricultural Development of Greece.

The main activities of GR-Nanomed Platform were presented On Thursday July 7th, during NANOTEXNOLOGY 2016, by Dr. Varvara Karagkiozaki person responsible of the platform. Moreover, a cooperation agreement with the corresponding Austrian platform took place. To date, more than 120 Nanomedicine Companies, Institutions and Hospitals are members of GR-Nanomed Platform.

On Tuesday July 5th 2016, during the NANOTEXNOLOGY 2016 multi-event which took place at Porto Palace Conference Centre and Hotel, Thessaloniki, HOPE-A and JAPEC (Organic and Printed Electronics Associations of Greece & Japan) signed their MOU in the presence of Ms. Theodora Tzakri, Deputy Minister of Economy, Development and Tourism of Greece.

NANOTEXNOLOGY 2016 commenced on Saturday July 2nd with ISSON16 Summer Schools which included interesting lectures on Nanotechnologies, Organic Electronics, Nanomedicine and Graphene! ISSON16 gathered more than 120 students from 25 different countries and 30 internationally acknowledged experts!

Then ISFOE16 Symposium on Flexible Organic Electronics started on Monday July 4th with more than 240 presentations from 35 different countries, to be followed by NN16 conference on Nanosciences and Nanotechnologies which started on Tuesday July 5th gathering 480 presentations from 52 different countries. During the day three exciting plenary talks were delivered by three world-class scientists, where all the attendants had the opportunity to be informed about all the cutting-edge updates on the fields of Nanotechnologies, Nanomedicine and Organic Electronics!
